How do I use this?

  • 1Enter the airflow to be heated.
  • 2Set the winter design temperature (inlet) and the supply temperature you need (outlet).
  • 3Choose the water temperature regime (e.g. 80/60 for district heating or 90/70 for a boiler house).

Help

Kvs — the flow capacity of a control valve (m³/h) at a pressure drop of 1 bar.

For the control set to work properly, pick the valve whose Kvs is the next size up from the calculated figure.

Important: Glycol mixtures lower the heat capacity and raise the viscosity, so the pump has to work harder.
